How to display module inside the menu column?
Publishing module inside DJ-MegaMenu is very simple. First make sure the DJ-MegaMenu system plugin is enabled. Then go to Joomla! Menu Manager and follow these steps.
- Go to menu which is displayed by DJ-MegaMenu module and create new or edit existing menu item on second level or above
- Go to parameter tab called "DJ-MegaMenu Options"
- Type the name of the "Module position" to use, e.g. "menu1"
- Go to Module Manager and publish any module in position you typed in menu item settings
If you want to display module in separate column, set "Start new column (break point)" to "Yes". You can also change the "Column width in pixels" for this particular column. By default menu item with typed module position doesn't display standard menu item anchor, but it can be changed by setting "Show link with module" parameter to "Yes".
Note: The module position will work also for the item on the first level, but it'll probably break the menu layout. If some module uses javascript and it doesn't work inside the menu please contact the module provider while it's not dependent of DJ-MegaMenu module.
