Displaying the DJ-Classifieds on website

Using the DJ-Classifieds component there are eleven view options available.

  1. Add item
  2. Category blog layout
  3. Category table layout
  4. Category tree
  5. Favourites ads
  6. Points Packages
  7. Profile editing
  8. Single ad view
  9. User Items
  10. User Points
  11. User Profile

To display one of the component views, navigate to Menus → Your_Menu and create a new menu item. Now click the Select button for the Menu Item Type option and under the DJ-Classifieds title in the popup window, you will see the list of available component views.

1. Add Item

This view displays a form for adding a new advert by user.

2. Category blog layout

This view displays all adverts or adverts from the selected category in the blog layout view.

Look at the example view of the category blog layout. Promoted adverts are on the top of the list and have a blue background to be more visible.

3. Category table layout

This view displays all adverts or adverts from the selected category in the table layout view. There are 3 kinds of table view. You can choose one to use in component options or in menu item settings.

4. Category tree

This view displays the tree of all categories. Number of levels being displayed depands on settings in component options.

5. Favourites ads

This view displays adverts marked by user as his favourites.

6. Points packages

This view displays points packages available to buy.

7. Profile editing

On this view user can edit his profile

8. Single ad view

This view displays a single advert view. Make sure you have selected the advert you want to display.

9. User items

This view displays all adverts added by user.

10. User points

This view displays history of user points.

11. User Profile

This view displays user profile with his avatar and custom fields assigned to the profile
