How to use “Buy now” feature in DJ-Classifieds

In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to set the buy now an option to your ad, using DJ-Classifieds extension. I'll show you also how looks a communication process with the advertiser and a purchase transaction from the seller point of view.

Firstly we will create units of items. Go to Components -> DJ-Classifieds -> Units and click New.

Let's create a new unit, for example "pairs". 

Go to Components-> DJ-Classifieds-> Items and click New.

Fill in the standard fields of classifieds: product name, type of purchase, price, etc. and go to Buy Now Tab.

Set fields as follow:

• Buy now - Yes
• Quantity - choose the number of products and the unit
• Click Save and Close.

Firstly we have to give access to adding ads for registered users.

Go to Components -> DJ-Classifieds -> Options -> Global tab

Find and enable "Buy Now" feature. Click save and close.

Now we’ll create a new menu item. Go to Menus -> Your default menu (main menu) and click Add New Menu Item. 

Go to Frontside and go to created item in the menu. Log in. 

Fill in the standard fields of classifieds: product name, type of purchase, price, etc. and go to Buy Now section.

• Buy now- Yes
• Quantity- choose the number of products and the unit (the units which we’ve created previously)
• Click Save and Close.

Well done! Our advert looks like that:

Let's assume that an Novak (sample user) want to buy 3 sets of Leather Sofa from John Doe (sample user).

• Purchase transaction. Choose the amount of product and click Buy Now. Then choose the type of shipment and click buy now. The screen displays the message that the order has been placed successfully.

• You can contact the advertiser by sending him an e-mail. Click contact this adviser, fill in the fields and click Send. The screen displays the message, that message has been sending successfully.

• And how it looks from the advertiser point of view? After purchase, he receives an e-mail message.

• Just as when someone sends a message to the seller.

Now the seller can communicate directly to the buyer and decide payment and delivery method.
