jQuery, Better Performance, Video Improvements

Updated version 2.5.0 of responsive slideshow and gallery component DJ-MediaTools adds new features. Below you can find out what was added. We've also improved the performance.

We have rewritten 4 built-in layouts to jQuery (slideshow, slideshow with thumbnails, tabber, modern slider) for Joomla 3.

• Additional lightbox script was added - Magnific Popup - this is also based on jQuery and can display mixed images and video galleries
• Niveo slider script was updated to version 3.2
• Skitter slideshow was updated to version 4.4

Picturefill.js was updated to version 3.0.1 and is now being loaded locally. This change provides around 50 times better performance!

• Fetching video info was updated to handle Dailymotion and Metacafe
• Video preview was added in the custom item edit form
• Video play button is now always visible, no matter what kind of image linking is chosen
• Fetching functionality got updated to fetch all available info

• We've added compatibility with key access for slider layout - arrows navigation and tab+spacebar/enter key for navigation buttons) for slider layout
• Added switch to enable/disable optimized keyboard access
• added compatibility with keyboard access (tab key) for gallery grid layout
